This grant will support the Ohio Valley Educational Cooperative in its efforts to continue to develop the Kentucky Statewide Afterschool Network. Through the statewide afterschool network, afterschool programs in Kentucky will have access to research-based, best practices and will help ensure that children will have access to the supports they need to succeed. The Kentucky Statewide Afterschool Network will systematically organize, mobilize, and communicate with afterschool stakeholders to advocate for increased funding and support for afterschool programs at the local, state, and national levels. This grantee is part of the sixth cohort of Mott-funded, statewide afterschool networks.
