Based at the University of Pretoria, the Gordon Institute of Business Science was established in 2000 and is one of the leading business schools in South Africa. The Dialogue Circles program creates opportunities for interaction and exchange across the different sectors of South African society to explore common solutions to the divides of race, poverty, and gender. The program provides current and emerging leaders in business, government, and civil society with learning opportunities and the space to share perspectives, engage in critical thinking, and explore their roles in improving the socioeconomic situation in South Africa. Past support contributed to programs that facilitate dialogue and strengthen leadership capacity among the youth, middle managers and top executives from business, government, and the nonprofit sector. This grant supports the grantee to implement these core programs and to create spaces for dialogue and exchange on topical issues.
