This grant provides partial support for the creation of a statewide, online database for Michigan arts organizations. The database is part of the Michigan Cultural Data Project, an initiative of ArtServe Michigan and the Pew Charitable Trusts. The project will provide Michigan arts organizations and funders with comprehensive data regarding the financial support and economic impact of arts regionally and statewide. As the Michigan nonprofit voice of arts and culture, ArtServe Michigan enhances the state's arts and culture sector through advocacy, capacity building, and strategic communications.
