Centre for Research, Documentation and Publication

The project goal is to help the newly established Centre for Research, Documentation and Publication develop its organizational and programmatic capacities to work on justice and reconciliation in Kosovo and the wider region over the long term. Formally registered as a nonprofit organization in Kosovo in February 2010, the grantee's mission is to gather documentation, conduct research, disseminate information and analysis, and raise public awareness about the legacies of conflict and human rights abuses in Kosovo. Through a wide range of project activities, the grantee will contribute to improving interethnic relations and strengthening respect for human rights and multiculturalism in Kosovo. A particular focus of the grantee's work over the next two years will be to advocate for the establishment of a regional victims' commission in the former Yugoslavia. Mott funds will be used during the grant period to support the grantee's organizational development and administrative costs.
