The American Association of Community Colleges will use grant funds to implement a two-year demonstration that will help community colleges understand their potential to function as virtual business incubators, to spawn and foster new small business development opportunities in direct response to market needs and niche. In doing so, participating colleges will demonstrate ways for established business leaders and emerging small business entrepreneurs to forge productive, symbiotic relationships that stimulate the growth of new local businesses.
