This renewal grant will provide continued support to the Genesee Area Focus Fund for the YouthQuest After School Initiative. The mission of YouthQuest is to provide children with opportunities to grow through a safe, engaging, and exciting afterschool learning experience, surrounded with caring, responsible adults and sustained by an involved, contributing community. In its first year, YouthQuest provided more than 1,500 children at 15 area schools with afterschool programs four days per week, three hours per day, 36 weeks per school year, and six weeks during the summer.
